With a quick 3-set sweep of Modesto Junior College on Oct. 5 in the North Gym, the Sac City Volleyball team upped its undefeated record to 14-0 and 6-0 in Big 8 conference play. The Panthers beat the Pirates 25-17, 25-15, 25-17 and cemented their position as the No. 3 team in Northern California and No. 6 in the state.
Sophomore Outside Hitter Keeley Franz leads the Big 8 Conference in kills per set, and is second in total kills, hitting percentage and service aces per set. Sophomore setter Kassidy Rauh leads the Big 8 in assists per set.
The Panthers take the court next at Sierra College on Oct. 12 to end the first half of conference play.
